The Stay at home Mom

Staying at home with the kids is awesome, exhausting, funny, infuriating and that is all before lunch. It is a hard job to be with kids all day as those of you who do it know. But many women who have filled those shoes have raised up godly men and women who have gone on to impact the world in significant ways.

It is a hard job to be with kids all day as those of you who do it know. But many women who have filled those shoes have raised up godly men and women who have gone on to impact the world in significant ways. Your job is of the highest value.

But, if you are a stay at home mom then you might be looked down upon by some as not as intelligent, backward, or unable to find a signficant job. None of that is true. You have THE most important job - raising children to fear the Lord and live for Him.

If this is where you absolutely believe the Lord wants you to be then live for Him fully in this role. Do your absolute best to learn to be a godly woman who will teach her children how to follow the Lord.

You have to start with you.

You learn to walk worthy, to submit fully to God, to be humble and gentle of heart, to be powerful in Christ and a woman to be praised. Then you will be ready and equipped for the immortal beings in your charge to teach them to be disciples of Christ.

Biblical Study on Christian Women

You might want to read a study on Christian women in the New Testament and the various roles a Christian woman played.

What has not changed since our Lord walked the earth is His love for women no matter their role and His call to them to be godly, God-glorifying women of God.
